The Reflower Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by caring individuals who "re-purpose" and deliver flowers to community centers. Our goal is to be "green" and we are dedicated to improving the health of the environment and well being of our community. We serve the Boston and South Shore, MA areas.

"Where flowers bloom, so does hope." ~ Lady Bird Johnson

Donate your blooms

The Reflower Project is dedicated to reusing your donated flowers to bring happiness and joy to others. After your wedding, corporate or social event your flowers will continue to spread cheer in the community. We also receive flower donations from local flower retailers and wholesalers. We will also happily accept vases. Being environmentally friendly we aim to use or recycle all of the donated flower arrangements. EIN# 82-5342992

How it works

We are so happy to work with you to make sure your donated flowers are properly removed, repurposed and delivered. Here is how it works:

  • Pre-event communication and coordination with your event planner, venue coordinator and/or florist.
  • Communication with the recipient of your donation.
  • Pick up of flowers from the venue once your event concludes that night or the next day.
  • Rearrangement and refreshing of flowers (if necessary) into vases and containers.
  • Delivery to a Reflower Project's approved recipient in the community.
  • Confirmation of delivery by photos of flowers at delivery location and email.
  • Composting of excess blooms, greenery and recycling of other waste.
  • A monetary donation amount will be estimated based on labor, travel time and other costs associated for us to accomplish this service.
  • Acknowledgment letter.
